HOUSE SERIES - Notebook drawing diptych and BH 4:

I started my house series in the late part of 2009. This small grouping, mixed material on paper made between the end of 2009 and into the latter part of 2010. Top to bottom:

(2) BLUE HOUSE 4: sumi ink, graphite, gouache on white Rives BFK paper, 18 in h x 36 in w (never exhibited). BLUE HOUSE 4 is now in the Works on Paper collection Stedman Gallery,
Rutgers The State University, Camden, NJ.

(4) LP BLUE, kaolin, flashe, ceramic pigment, on paper: 38 in h x 33.3/4 in w: 2006. LP BLUE was exhibition in the Delaware Art Museum Centennial Exhibition 2012-2013.
(5) PORTRAIT WHITE & GRAY, oil over flashe, kaolin, ceramic pigment on paper: 38 in h x 33 1/4 in w.

BLUE PORTRAIT 8: chance, time, qouache, sumi ink, graphite, oil on paper over gesso, 6 in h x 4.75 in w: 2005-2006: In Blue Portrait 8, a figure seen from behind, I combine materials in non-traditional ways to achieve unique visual affects.

Small Portrait Series: TEAL PORTRAIT

TEAL PORTRAIT: oil on paper over gesso, 13.25 in h x 13.50 in w (almost square): 2004-2005 (from my personal collection) I have never shown it in my exhibitions featuring my Portrait Series.

Figure Series: SHALLCROSS FIGURE 7

SHALLCROSS FIGURE 7: compressed charcoal, oil on paper over gesso, 32.5 in h x 23.75 in w: 2003-2004 - There are several figures in this painting hidden within the layers of paint. The figure directly to the right of the surface figure appears as a reflection to the frontal figure drawn with compressed charcoal. This painting is now in the Works on Paper collection of Stedman Gallery, Rutgers The State University, Camden NJ.
